So life happens once in a while, and the novel takes a seat on the shelf. The frustrations of rejection add up. Distractions and schedule changes affect writing routines. Even when time to write comes available the familiarity of the manuscripts fogs its deficiencies. Time to give it a rest. Do other projects. Read. Stay creative. And return stronger soon.
